Service Description

Contemporary dance emerged in the 1950s, combining elements of modern dance and classical ballet. Contemporary classes enable children to develop technique, as well as enhance their own choreography and creativity skills. Children work on partner and group lifts and counter balances. The classes are an excellent foundation for students who wish to take dance studies at school. Kate’s Dance Academy follows the NATD syllabi teaching graded work as well as developing different styles and techniques. There are also opportunities to perform.
